Coote’s Cottage dates back to the 1880′s and has been lovingly restored and furnished with period pieces. It is situated in a quiet part of Kenilworth in the heart of the Cape Peninsula within easy distance of Cape Town’s many attractions.
It consists of a fully equipped kitchen, a lovely sunny entrance hall, a dining room, a lounge with fireplace and a charming en-suite bedroom with Victorian bathroom.
It has a small, totally private and secluded Japanese style garden with water features.
The cottage is ideally suited to a couple (or one person) although it can sleep a third person if necessary. It is not suitable for children.
Within 20 minutes enjoy a comfortable drive to Table Mountain National Park, Rhodes Memorial, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, Groot Constantia, the City Bowl, the V&A Waterfront or the beaches in False Bay, Table Bay, Hout Bay or the Atlantic Seaboard.
If you wish to entertain we can configure the cottage to allow you to seat up to 25 guests for a full dinner. We can provide the caterers (or you may use your own) and we will take care of every detail to ensure a memorable occasion.
